DJI Matrice 4TD (Drone Only – Dock Version)

DJI Matrice 4TD: Dock-ready autonomous drone with standalone deployment capability
The DJI Matrice 4TD is an enterprise drone platform designed for automated drone-in-a-box deployments while remaining fully capable of standalone field operations.
As part of the Matrice 4D Series, the aircraft integrates multiple imaging sensors including wide, telephoto, and thermal cameras that support inspection, monitoring, and security missions.
The aircraft is optimized for automated deployment through DJI Dock 3 infrastructure and remote mission management using DJI FlightHub 2.
At the same time, the Matrice 4TD can also be flown manually using the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller (sold separately) for traditional drone operations.
This flexibility allows organizations to deploy the aircraft for mobile field inspections or permanent dock-based monitoring systems.
Aircraft Capabilities and Integrated Sensor Systems Features
Multi-sensor imaging: Combines wide, medium tele, tele, and thermal cameras onboard.
Laser rangefinder: Measures target distance for inspection and situational awareness.
Thermal imaging: Captures infrared imagery for night operations and diagnostics.
RTK positioning: Supports centimeter-level navigation accuracy during automated missions.
Vision sensing: Detects obstacles using forward, lateral, backward, and downward sensors.
O4+ Enterprise transmission: Maintains stable command and video communication links.
Dock integration: Supports autonomous deployment using DJI Dock 3 infrastructure.
Environmental protection: Achieves IP55 ingress protection for demanding outdoor operations.
Industrial navigation: Integrates GNSS, IMU, barometer, and compass flight sensors.
Autonomous Dock Operations and Flexible Field Deployment
The Matrice 4TD was engineered to support both automated dock-based missions and traditional manual drone operations.
When integrated with DJI Dock 3, the aircraft can automatically launch scheduled inspection missions, capture imagery or video, and return to the dock for charging and data upload.
These missions can be coordinated remotely using DJI FlightHub 2, allowing organizations to maintain persistent monitoring of infrastructure or facilities. For teams that require portable deployment, the Matrice 4TD can also be flown manually using the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller.
This standalone capability allows operators to deploy the aircraft rapidly in areas where dock infrastructure cannot be installed while still benefiting from the aircraft’s rugged design and multi-sensor imaging system.

Designed for Persistent Aerial Monitoring and Inspection Workflows
The DJI Matrice 4TD is engineered to support long-term inspection and monitoring programs across industrial environments. Its multi-sensor imaging system allows operators to capture visual and thermal data during inspection missions, while RTK positioning and vision sensing systems support stable navigation.
Integration with DJI Dock 3 enables automated launch, landing, and charging cycles for scheduled remote operations. At the same time, the aircraft can be deployed manually for field missions when dock infrastructure is not available.
This dual operational capability allows organizations to expand drone operations gradually while maintaining flexibility for mobile deployments.
The Matrice 4TD enables organizations to maintain consistent aerial visibility across infrastructure, industrial assets, and security environments. By combining multi-sensor imaging with both dock-based automation and manual deployment capabilities, the aircraft supports scalable drone operations across a wide range of enterprise missions.
