Freefly Astro Max Mapping Bundle

Freefly Astro Max Mapping Bundle: Turnkey Precision Drone Survey Kit
The Freefly Astro Max Mapping Bundle is a complete, professional-grade aerial mapping system built for accuracy, endurance, and efficiency. It combines the Freefly Astro Max aircraft, Sony ILX-LR1 61 MP camera with Sigma 24 mm f/3.5 lens, Freefly gimbal, Pilot Pro Controller with tablet, six SL8-Air batteries, and a full charging and spare-parts suite. The Astro Max aircraft in this bundle is not NDAA approved, though an NDAA/Blue version of the Freefly Astro Max is also available separately. The Sony ILX-LR1 payload included here is NDAA and DIU approved, providing flexibility for a wide range of survey projects.
Precision Imaging Meets Proven Engineering
The Astro Max is Freefly’s most advanced compact industrial platform, built with open interface specifications that allow flexible payload integration. It ships ready to fly with the Astro Isolator, folding landing gear, and high-efficiency 2270 propellers for stable performance. The Sony ILX-LR1 full-frame 61 MP camera and Sigma 24 mm lens deliver crisp, low-distortion imagery ideal for mapping. RTK compatibility through a user-supplied ground-station computer enables centimeter-level positioning for survey accuracy.
Field Efficiency and Complete Readiness
This bundle ensures maximum uptime in the field. Six SL8-Air batteries and four SL8 Fast Chargers support continuous mission cycles, while the included SL8 Travel Case keeps the power system organized for transport. The Pilot Pro Controller, pre-installed with a Samsung Galaxy Active5 tablet and Herelink 1.1 radio, provides a durable, ready-to-fly control solution. A spare-parts kit, prop protectors, and replacement props ensure long-term reliability. Standard Remote ID is enabled for FAA compliance.
